Dr. Thomas in Chicago is an internationally recognized Facial Plastic Surgeon, Professor and Head of the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Dr. Thomas completed his residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Missouri School of Medicine and a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is board certified by both the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He teaches Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery to UIC medical students, residents and fellowship physicians.
A renowned speaker, he shares his expertise at medical meetings, courses and conferences to advance the practice of facial plastic surgery. He has authored over 100 scientific papers and publications, including 3 textbooks. His specialties include rhinoplasty (cosmetic surgery of the nose), blepharoplasty (cosmetic surgery of the eyelids), facelift (rhytidectomy), as well as multiple other cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures of the face, head and neck.
